APWA Silicon Valley Chapter will hold its May 19 Luncheon and Board Meeting at Michael's Restaurant in Mountain View.  Our Program will include:

The San Jose State University Tower Foundation - Laura Henderson, SJSU Alum and Director of the Tower Foundation, will tell us about the program and how the endowment that APWA SV recently started will be used to assist Civil Engineering students.  The Tower Foundation was established by the Civil Engineering Department to encourage connections between students, alumni and the community.

Engineers Without Borders (EWB) - is a non-profit humanitarian organization that partners with developing countries to improve quality of life.  The San Jose Annex of the EWB-SF Chapter will be telling us more about the organization, their upcoming projects, and how we can get involved.

Student Scholarship Awards - Come meet the award winners of the ASCE Essay Contest supported by our chapter donation.
